Once the customer completes the purchase with Scalapay, the merchant does not need to take any further action. The payment is handled entirely by Scalapay. Specifically, the sale amount is credited via bank transfer directly to the merchant’s account. The transfer corresponds to the total order amount, net of the agreed-upon fees. The time it takes for the funds to be credited can be up to 7 business days and also depends on the merchant’s bank’s processing times.

During this period, the order is already confirmed and the sale is considered complete in all respects, allowing the merchant to process shipping or delivery without delay. This way, the merchant receives payment in a single lump sum, while Scalapay handles the installment payments with the end customer.
